行动起来
我在他们里面，你在我里面，使他们完完全全地合而为一，叫世人知道你差了我来，也知道你爱他们如同爱我一样。
约翰福音17:23
在橄榄球赛季，全国各地的人都要为持续几个月的、疯狂的星期天做准备。当他们最喜爱的球队在人满为患的体育场开赛时，他们会塞满冰盒，烧烤汉堡包，打开电视机，跳到沙发上，跟随比赛大喊大叫。
而于此同时，全国还有其他一些人（其中有的也喜欢看球赛）却在热心准备开展为时几个月的福音事工活动，为要把人带到上帝的面前。他们也会把厨房里装满食物、为所需要的祷告，忙忙碌碌。他们互相配搭，迎接新人，组织圣经学习、唱诗服事，享受团契带来的喜乐，因为其中很多人的生命被耶稣基督翻转。这正是对主耶稣祷告的回应，也就是耶稣被捕和受难之前的祷告。主耶稣希望门徒们积极行动、彼此连结，通过团契来一起改变世界。
今日祷告：
耶稣，让我开始行动，参加福音事工小组。帮助我与其他的弟兄姊妹深入连结在一起。阿们。

People all around the country are preparing for several months of frenzied worship on Sundays. They’re going to fill their coolers, grill their burgers, turn on their TV sets, plop down on couches, froth and scream as their favorite football teams kick off inflated pigskins in packed-out stadiums.
Other people all around the country (some who are also deeply embedded in the category above!) are preparing to launch several months of activities and events designed to bring people closer to God. They’re going to fill their kitchens, pray for needs, get their hands dirty, lean on each other, welcome new guests, study the Bible, sing and serve and enjoy the proactive fellowship that comes from people who have been changed by Jesus. This is an answer to the prayer of Jesus that he prayed just before he was arrested and crucified. He wanted his followers to get involved, to get connected, and to change the world through their fellowship.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, kick me in gear to get involved in a ministry group this fall. Help me to follow through with connecting deeply with others who follow you. Amen.
