不再是我
我已经与基督同钉十字架，现在活着的不再是我，乃是基督在我里面活着；并且我如今在肉身活着，是因信上帝的儿子而活；他是爱我，为我舍己。
加拉太书2:20
我们知道，因为荣耀的复活，主耶稣的十字架受难其实是一个美丽的残酷，或者说残酷的美丽。
那些可怕的事实，不只是耶稣被鞭打——那是极度悲惨的；不只是被侮辱——那是极度痛苦的；也不只是被扎入铁钉——那是极度恐怖的；还有那种窒息。主创世之初赐给人的气息，竟被悄然剥夺了。那最后一刻，他已经无法继续用双腿支撑自己的身体让自己的肺部可以吸入空气。然而，他却用尽全部的力气，放下一切的尊严，卑微地喊出那句惊世骇俗的话：“父啊，赦免他们！”
今日祷告：
耶稣，你为我舍弃生命，我也愿意为你献上自己。我愿意高举你的名，见证传扬你的福音，让更多的罪人转向你，愿他们得到赦免和平安、救赎和盼望。愿你使用我这个不配的器皿，带领他人，活出你的生命。阿们。

No Longer I
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
GALATIANS2:20
We know, in the hindsight of the resurrection, that the crucifixion of Jesus is beautiful terror…or terrible beauty. It wasn’t just the beatings— as wretched as they were. Nor the insults—as hideous as they were. And it wasn’t even the nails—as horribly awful as they were. It was also the asphyxiation. The very breath that Jesus gave to us at the creation of the world, stolen from him. He couldn’t keep leveraging his legs to push himself up enough to catch air in his lungs. And still he mustered enough strength, swallowed more pride than all of humanity combined, and spoke out those resoundingly refreshing words, “Father, forgive them.”
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, just as you gave your life for me, I give my life for you. As I am stretched out and lifted up, may people be drawn to you, and may they find forgiveness and peace, salvation and hope. I trust you to lovingly lead others to life through me today. Amen.
