努力工作
耕种自己田地的，必得饱食；追随虚浮的，足受穷乏。
箴言28:19
你听过这些故事吧？一些幸运儿买彩票中了大奖，结果却挥霍殆尽，变得入不敷出。金山银山，都经不起无度挥霍，终有一天，化为乌有。
有梦想有激情是好事。游历天下也很不错。即便是祈望发洋财也无可厚非。但是，一般来说，要想真正获得安定平稳的生活，有吃有穿，还需要合理的计划和踏踏实实的努力工作。大饼不会从天而降，银行存款也不会自动增加。看看那些垂垂老矣、曾经红极一时的童星、一夜成名的歌手，多少人因为奢侈和懈怠而最终穷困潦倒。
今日祷告：
耶稣，求你让我勤奋工作，做一个踏踏实实的人。阿们。

Work
A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty.
PROVERBS 28:19
You’ve heard the stories, right? Some lucky guy strikes it rich in the state lottery, only to squander it all away carelessly. All of his money didn’t stand a chance against all of his spending. What once seemed like an endless supply of resources one day leaked away to nothing.
It’s great to have dreams and have passions. It’s wonderful to want to travel and play. It’s even okay to pray for an unexpected windfall. But, ordinarily, to truly obtain the sort of stable life that puts food on the plate and clothes on the back takes healthy planning and hard work. Food doesn’t magically appear on the plate and savings don’t miraculously appear in the account. Ask any aging pop-culture child superstar or any one-hit musical wonder. The combination of fantastical consumption mixed with a lazy attitude depletes the reservoirs of life.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, kick my butt into gear. Let me become known as a hard worker and a person of character. Amen.
