向前正看
“你的眼目要向前正看；你的眼睛 当向前直观。要修平你脚下的路，坚定你一切的道。不可偏向左右；要使你的脚离开邪恶。”
箴言4:25-27
你很容易判断一个人是否恐惧、撒谎或缺乏自信，因为在你跟他们说话时，他们的眼神会闪烁不定。就好像他们感觉自己被跟踪了，或者他们觉得没有安全感、不敢直视别人的眼睛。这种缺乏专注的眼神，会导致慌乱和焦虑，从而有意或无意地犯错。
但是紧跟耶稣的人，总保持坚定的目光。聚焦于耶稣的人，能吸引别人的目光。专注于救主耶稣，让你始终不会目光涣散，保持稳健的步伐。这是耶稣的道路：目光坚定、视力敏锐、异象清晰、脚步安稳。
今日祷告：
亲爱的耶稣，不要叫我目光偏离，让我定睛于你，跟随你的带领。阿们。

Eyes
Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.
PROVERBS 4:25–27
You can usually tell when people are afraid or lying or unconfident because their eyes dart all around when speaking to them. It’s as if they think they’re being followed, or that they’re feeling too insecure or too intimidated to look someone in the eyes. Such a lack of focused vision causes people to make mistakes, either intentionally or unintentionally, out of chaos or anxiety.
But those who perseveringly follow Jesus keep steady eyes. A steady gaze on Jesus allows people to notice and absorb his already focused gaze upon them. Their concentration on their Savior teaches them to walk securely in situations that seem impossible to eye rovers. This is the way of Jesus. Eyes secure. Sight enabled. Vision clear. Steps assured.
Pray for the Day:
Dear Jesus, halt my wandering eyes today. Enable me to steady my gaze on you and in the direction you want me to go. Amen.
