梦想
“耶和华的荣耀必然显现；凡有血气的必一同看见；因为这是耶和华亲口说的。”
以赛亚书40:5
在1963年的8月28日这一天，25万人聚集在林肯纪念堂台阶旁的倒影池周围。一位名叫马丁路德金的年轻牧师，发表了他的演讲，那是20世纪最著名的一次演讲。
正当小马丁路德金马丁准备结束自己的演讲之时，台上站在他身旁的一位国际著名的福音歌手马哈丽亚·杰克逊（Mahalia Jackson）朝他喊了一句：“告诉他们你的梦想！马丁，告诉他们你的梦想！” 马丁，没有丝毫的犹豫，把讲稿推到讲台的一边，凝视着眼前的人山人海，用以赛亚书中的祷告发出一个改变整个美国的心声：“我有一个梦想，有一天一切山洼都要填满，大小山冈都要削平；高高低低的要改为平坦，崎崎岖岖的必成为平原，耶和华的荣耀必然显现；凡有血气的必一同看见 。”

Dream
Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The Lord has spoken!
ISAIAH 40:5
On August 28, 1963, over 250,000 people gathered around the reflecting pool by the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. A young preacher named Martin Luther King Jr. stood up and gave what has been considered the greatest speech of the twentieth century.
At one point, with most of his prepared speech completed, Martin Luther King Jr. was beginning to wrap it up. Near him on the stage was an internationally famous gospel singer named Mahalia Jackson. As he was about to finish, she yelled over to him, “Tell them about the dream, Martin!
Tell them about the dream!”
Martin, without hesitating, pushed his notes to the side of the podium, stared out to the river of people before him, and with words from Isaiah and prayers from his heart, he began to paint a picture that changed the nation:“I have a dream that one day…”

Dear Jesus, may your justice roll through our land, bringing a righteousness that changes my heart toward you. Amen.
