真真实实
“你们的争战，就与你们在我身上从前所看见、现在所听见的一样。”
腓立比书 1:30
圣经最令人印象深刻之处，就是它的原始真实性。即便是那些信心英雄，摩西、大卫和保罗等，也都是有实实在在问题的真实人物。实际上，他们的问题有时还绝对令人惊讶。他们都杀过人，都公然犯过罪，他们的生命也都得到彻底的翻转。他们都需要耶稣的改变和医治。
也许你和他们也有类似之处。他们的过去都充满了错误的决定、无尽的悔恨。但值得注意 的是，摩西、大卫和保罗，即便都背负着所有的重担，依然学会如何跟随上帝。感谢上帝，祂与摩西同在，每天更新他的心灵；祂与大卫同在，提醒他年少时纯正的信心；他与保罗同在，让他瞎眼睁开，见证基督。在这样的过程中，在上帝和众人面前他们都是真实无伪的。正如保罗在腓立比书中对他亲爱的弟兄姊妹们所说：“你们的争战，就与你们在我身上从前所看见、现在所听见的一样。”
今日祷告：
亲爱的耶稣，拆毁我内心的墙壁，让我成为一个完全诚实的人。阿们。

Be Real
We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it.
PHILIPPIANS 1:30
One of the most impressive things about the Bible is its raw honesty. Even the “heroes” of faith, like Moses, David, and Paul, are real people with real issues and real problems. In fact, their problems are absolutely astonishing at times. Each of these guys was a murderer, each of them had blatant public sins, and each of them had to make dramatic U-turns in life. They all needed
Jesus to change them and heal them.
Perhaps you can relate to these guys? Each of them had a “past” that was filled with wrong decisions and regrets. But remarkably, even with all of their baggage, Moses, David, and Paul learned how to follow God. How can this be? God got ahold of Moses and helped him walk with a fire in his heart every night. God relentlessly worked to help David remember the purehearted
faith of his youth. And God knocked Paul to the ground and used his once-blinded heart to change many people. In the process, each of them learned to be raw and real before God and others. As Paul told some dear Philippian friends of his, no fake celebrities here: We are in this struggle together. You have seen my struggle in the past, and you know that I am still in the midst of it.
Pray for the Day:
Dear Jesus, knock down the walls I have put up, and let me become a vulnerably honest person. Amen.
