为城区求平安
“我所使你们被掳到的那城，你们要为那城求平安，为那城祷告耶和华；因为那城得平安，你们也随着得平安。”
耶利米书 29:7
你停下来，看看周围的环境，你看到了什么？请你描述一下你所在的那个地方，描述一下你所在的那条街道，那里发生的事情，描述一下你所居住的城市。那里的环境如何？那里的人怎样？想想你所听到的周围的声音，你所见到的周围的人，他们有什么不同之处？
你知道吗？你所在之处就是你见证耶稣的地方。这是何等的一种特权啊！正是你，通过关注你身边的一切，你要代表耶稣。你可以赞美上帝的创造。你要珍惜家庭和社会的文化传统、提升你的城市，赞扬其民众。非常荣幸的是，你可以为他们祷告，祝福他们和睦、复兴、繁荣、平安、喜乐、自由、真诚，以及你能想到一切的美好祝福。当你这样身体力行地关爱你的邻舍时，主耶稣也必然祝福你。
今日祷告：
亲爱的耶稣，我为我所居住的地方和民众，感谢赞美你。求你看顾我们大家。阿们。

Your Community
And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.
JEREMIAH 29:7
Stop. Look at your surroundings for a moment. What do you see? Describe the place where you are. Describe the street you are on, the activity level all around you, and the city where you reside. What kind of environment is it? What are the people there like? Think about all the nuances and noises and neighbors around you right now.
You know, where you are is where you represent Jesus. What a privilege that is. You. You get to represent Jesus. And you get to do this by caring for all that is around you. You have the opportunity to cherish God’s creation, to treasure the rhythms and culture of families and communities, to uplift your city and celebrate its people. You have the incredible honor of praying for everyone around you. You can pray for blessing, for reconciliation, for restoration and prosperity and peace and joy and freedom and truth and whatever else your loving heart can think to pray. And, as you fill yourself with the practice of loving your neighbors, the Lord Jesus will honor you.
Pray for the Day:
Dear Jesus, I praise you for the people and places of my community. I ask you to care for all of us today. Amen.
