守住盼望
“只要心里尊主基督为圣。有人问你们心中盼望的缘由，就要常作准备，以温柔、敬畏的心回答各人；”
彼得前书3:15
你真的可以持有盼望吗？盼望是有形有体，可以触摸的吗？你能说自己抓住了足够的盼望，让人可以注意到吗？还是说，盼望是无法把握的东西，就像对着星星许愿–却不太可能实现的梦想？圣经说，耶稣给了我们实际的、相关的、真实的盼望， 只要你在每天的实际生活中有意识地活出耶稣的样式。 你与耶稣的关系改变了你。其他人会注意到这一点。
如果有人问起你的盼望，你如何回答？你会回避这个问题吗？试图避免谈到耶稣？你的脑海里会想到耶稣吗？或者你的盼望只是根据自己所处的环境？换句话说，你的盼望是基于耶稣，还是基于自己美好的愿望？如果问到这些问题，你会怎样回答呢？

亲爱的耶稣，求你加添我心中的盼望，让我也能把它带给那些寻求盼望的人。阿们。

Answer for Hope
Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.
1 PETER 3:15
Is hope something you can actually hold? Is it tangible? Would you say that you can grasp enough hope that someone might notice that you have it? Or is hope something that you can’t really hold, like a wish-upon-a-star but- probably-isn’t-likely sort of dream? The Bible says Jesus gives actual, relevant, and real hope when you intentionally become more and more defined by him in the everyday raw realities of life.
A real relationship with Jesus actually changes you. People notice that. If someone asked you about your hope, how would you answer? Would you shy away from the question, trying to avoid mentioning Jesus altogether? Would Jesus even come to your mind, or would your “hope” be based on your circumstances? In other words, is hope placed in Jesus or in your longing for things to work out for good (as in, “I have hope because of Jesus” versus “Boy, I really hope I have a good day”)? What would you say if you are asked these questions?
Pray for the Day:
Dear Jesus, increase your hope in me so that I may give it to those who ask me about it. Amen.
