以德报怨
“不以恶报恶，以辱骂还辱骂，倒要祝福；因你们是为此蒙召，好叫你们承受福气。”
彼得前书 3:9
“她背后说我坏话！我也可以说一点关于她的丑事！”“他欺骗了我！我也可以报复他！” 刚才那家伙骂我什么？这个混蛋！” 不要因为别人伤害了你，你就一定非要以牙还牙。冷静下来，不必介怀。设想一下主耶稣会怎样创造性地通过你来工作。不以恶报恶，倒是要祝福。用你的尊严和大度来征服他们。不要让别人的愚蠢摧毁你自己的尊严。相反，你知道他们是无知的。怜悯他们，将他们扭曲的灵魂交到主的面前。我们要实践的 是耶稣在十字架上的饶恕和祝福。上帝自有公义和审判。
今日祷告：
亲爱的耶稣，以德报怨实在很难，求你帮助我大胆地活在你的全能之下。阿们。

Keep Calm And…
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.
1 PETER 3:9
“She gossiped about me! I have every right to spread rumors about her!” “He cheated on me, so I should be able to get back at him!” “What did that guy call me? Well, he’s just a big $%##^^!”
Just because people do awful things to you doesn’t mean you can do awful things in return. Keep calm and respond with gentleness. But in your response be shrewdly aware of the creative way that Jesus would like to work through you. Instead of repaying with retribution, try reimbursing someone’s nasty deposit with a blessing. Surprise them in your dignity and graciousness. Don’t let their stupidity destroy your dignity. Instead, as you recognize their idiocy, have pity and lift their distorted soul to the Lord. Take the posture of Jesus’ blessing from the cross and leave any retribution to the Lord’s good judgment.
Pray for the Day:
Dear Jesus, this is a radical challenge to respond to evil in this world with the power of your goodness. Help me to live in the audacity of your authority today. Amen.
