靠主得救
“我在急难中求告耶和华，他就应允我， 把我安置在宽阔之地。”
诗篇 118:5
电影《魔戒》（又译《指环王》）中有一个情节，就是甘道夫被敌人关起来，实在没有办法的时候，他就呼唤神鹰来救他。这些神鹰可不是一般的老鹰。他们体型巨大，翅膀张开可达四十英尺。他们很轻易地就可以冲毁敌军的防守，救英雄到安全之地。
圣经中有很多的记载，当人陷入困境不能自救时，他们就呼求上帝来救他们。人总是因为这样或那样的原因惹了麻烦。 有时候是因为他们自己的愚蠢和错误导致的严重后果，有时候是完全不能控制局面而身陷险境。一次又一次，他们呼求上帝的帮助，他们会记下：上帝应允我的祈求，并搭救了我。很多时候我们对自己困境的具体情形糊里糊涂，同样也不清楚被救的细节。麻烦和解脱通常都不以人的意志为转移。但是我们深信：上帝救那些在急难中求告他的。
今日祷告：
主耶稣，我向你祈求，当我陷入困境时求你做我随时的帮助。阿们。
July 2 Set Free
In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free.
PSALM 118:5
In The Lord of the Rings, when Gandalf is stuck and when he is truly in distress, he summons the eagles to come and help him. These aren’t ordinary eagles, however. These are massive birds of prey with a forty-foot wingspan that are able to destroy orc armies and carry the heroes off to safety.
The Bible is full of times when God’s people summon the Lord for rescue in the midst of distress. For whatever reason, they have found themselves in trouble. Sometimes it was stupid and sinful decisions that got them stuck right where they are, and at other times circumstances beyond their control overwhelm them. Repeatedly, as these individuals cry out to the Lord, they make this note: And the Lord answered me and set me free. We don’t always know the details of the distress, nor do we always know the details of the rescue either. The trouble and the escape certainly don’t always look like the people expected. But we do know this: God rescues those who call out to him in their time of need.
Pray for the Day:
Lord Jesus, I pray to you, and I ask you to please come to my aid when I find myself in trouble. Amen.
