天天见证
“你们在外邦人中，应当品行端正，叫那些毁谤你们是作恶的，因看见你们的好行为，便在鉴察的日子归荣耀给神。”
彼得前书 2:12
人们不是仅仅通过去教会才了解耶稣。实际上，绝大多数人都是在每一天的生活中，看到基督徒的一言一行 来了解耶稣。这就意味着，如果人们经常去超市，他们就会不断地遇到基督徒，因为基督徒当然也会去超市。人们会坐下吃饭，会去上班，会参加社区活动，会观看棒球赛等等，很有可能，基督徒也出现在这些场所。
我们在教会里的见证当然很重要。然而，可以说，基督徒在一个星期其他六天的日常生活中的见证 更为重要。基督徒在周一是否言语恰当；在周二如何谈论他人；周三，如何排队结账；周四在工作上是否值得信任；周五如何使用金钱；周六在街坊邻居间是否可靠。我们一周七天的行为举止都是见证。
今日祷告：
亲爱的耶稣，求你每一天都更新我，让我的见证吸引周围的人来跟随你。阿们。

How You Live
Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.
1 PETER 2:12
People don’t learn about Jesus just from going to church. In fact, most people learn most about Jesus through everyday, regular-life encounters with his followers. This means that if people regularly go to the grocery store, then they will repeatedly run into followers of Jesus who also naturally go to the grocery store. If people regularly sit down for meals, or spend hours at work, or hang out at community events, or watch a baseball game, it is very likely that followers of Jesus will be there too. While good behavior at church is noteworthy, it could be argued that it is significantly more important how followers of Jesus live the other six days of the week in the regular routines of everyday life. It makes a difference what kind of words followers of Jesus use on Monday. It matters how they speak about others on Tuesday, how they stand in a checkout line on Wednesday, whether or not they are trustworthy at work on Thursday, how they spend their money on Friday, and if they are reliable as neighbors on Saturday. How we live seven days a week is important.
Pray for the Day:
Dear Jesus, change me every day of the week so that I can draw my neighbors to you. Amen.
