处变不惊
“耶稣醒了，斥责风，向海说：‘住了吧！静了吧！’风就止住，大大地平静了。耶稣对他们说：‘为什么胆怯？你们还没有信心吗？’”
马可福音4:39-40
你有没有想过，主耶稣睡一觉醒来，会是怎么样的？他会不会迷迷糊糊的？他会不会打几个哈欠、伸几个懒腰？他会不会揉揉眼睛、清清嗓门、甩甩胳膊？ 你是否觉得他会诡秘地一笑，似乎知道什么奇妙的事情将要发生？或者你是否认为他会按几次闹钟的止闹按钮再睡睡回笼觉？
有一次，耶稣醒来，是被他的那些惊慌失措的门徒叫醒了。他们在船上，在大海深处，正遇上了暴风雨。然而，耶稣并不担心，祂显然可以照样安睡。也许他还很享受这惊涛骇浪的感觉。天地的创造者正乘着狂风巨浪。这就像过山车的发明者正坐在过山车里享受那种惊险。耶稣醒来后并没有大惊失色。混乱中，祂却泰然自若。那一天，和其他每一天一样，完全在主耶稣的掌管之中。
今日祷告：
耶稣，求你也给我一点像你一样的信心。阿们。

Wake Up
When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
MARK4:39 – 40
Have you ever wondered how Jesus woke up? Did he startle awake? Did he slowly yawn and stretch out his arms? Did he rub his eyes, grumble his voice, and gruff his shoulders? Do you think he smiled a sly smile, as if he knew something amazing was going to happen? Or do you think he wished he could hit his snooze button a few times?
One time Jesus woke up because he was awakened frantically by his disciples. They were in a boat, and the boat was in the middle of the sea, and the sea was in the middle of a storm. Jesus wasn’t worried, however; he was obviously able to get comfortable enough to rest. Maybe he enjoyed the sensation of danger out there on the sea. The Creator of the Universe had the opportunity to ride in his own storm (which would be kind of like the creator of a roller coaster strapping himself in for the thrills). Jesus wasn’t shocked by what was going on when he awoke. The chaos didn’t overwhelm him. That day, just like any other day, was completely in his control.

Jesus, give me even a small dose of your confidence for today. Amen.
