坚固信心
“孩子的父亲立时喊着说：’我信！但我信不足，求主帮助。”
马可福音 9:24
我们可不可以怀疑上帝？这本身就是很多人内心的疑惑。我们很难彻底相信一个人，甚至包括上帝。我们经常不确定上帝是否看顾我们，或者说我们感受不到他的关爱。我们更不理解为什么上帝允许那么多的悲剧发生在世界上、发生在我们的生活中。我们感到失望，似乎上帝并不真实。疑惑是一种正常的心理现象，问题是，我们是否可以怀疑上帝呢？
其实圣经里有很多关于疑惑的故事。那些信心英雄们似乎都经历过非常疑惑的过程。基甸，在他的生命中对于上帝，就是一个悲观主义者；诗篇里也有很多困惑和绝望的呼喊；当耶稣没有及时到来时，马大很痛苦；彼得和众使徒一而再再而三的跌倒。这些，是否正常呢？
疑惑，其实也是我们在实际生活中追求信仰的过程。例如，我们相信上帝的存在，所以我们想知道为什么没有感受到祂。我们知道上帝是良善的，所以我们与世上一切的邪恶争战。当我们把疑惑交托给上帝的时候，这也正显明了我们的信心。上帝就看重一颗信靠祂、并且全然将最深的疑惑交托给祂的心。
今日祷告：
主耶稣，我的信心常常软弱，但是我将一切交托给你。阿们。

Doubt

Is it okay to doubt God? That’s a question many people often wonder about. We struggle as humans to completely trust anyone, including God. At times we’re not sure God is really watching out for us, or we don’t feel God cares about us. Or maybe we wonder why God allows tragedy to happen in our lives or even in the world at large. We are disappointed that God doesn’t seem more real. Doubt is normal. But is it okay?
The Bible is filled with doubt. “Heroes” of faith appear to have serious trust issues. Gideon, for one, is a pessimist when it comes to God in his life. The Psalms echo with cries of bewilderment and despair. Martha was agonized that Jesus didn’t arrive when she wanted him to. Peter and the
disciples fail miserably on more than a few occasions. But is that okay?
Doubt can be a sign that we are trying to work out our faith in real life. For instance, we believe God is there, so we wonder why we don’t feel him; we know God is good, so we struggle with all the bad in the world. When our doubt is lifted to God, it reveals our faith. And God honors the heart that trusts its deepest doubts to him.
Pray for the Day:
Lord Jesus, my faith is not always full, but whatever I have I lift to you. Amen.
