上帝的恩慈
“但到了上帝—我们救主的恩慈和他向人所施的慈爱显明的时候， 他便救了我们；并不是因我们自己所行的义，乃是照他的怜悯，借着重生的洗和圣灵的更新。”
提多书 3:4-5
主耶稣因着祂的慈爱和良善，救赎了我们。我们从船上掉落到汹涌的大海里，因为祂要我们在暴风雨中离开甲板，但是我们没有听祂的命令。之前，我们觉得他太严厉了，对我们不公平，就不顾他的反对到船尾的甲板上玩耍。没过多久，我们就滑落了。但是上帝总是以慈爱的目光在关注我们，呼唤我们的名字。当我们落水时，祂立刻跳进激流，用救生圈套住我们，把我们拉回到船舱里。是上帝的恩慈拯救了我们。不是因为我们做了什么，而仅仅是因为祂极大的怜悯。
今日祷告：
主耶稣，我要不住地称谢祢。尽管是我自己的过犯，祢还是拯救了我。我感谢祢！你的良善救赎了我；你的慈爱温暖了我；你的怜悯保守了我。谢谢主，阿们。
May 13 – Life Preserver
When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
T I T U S 3 : 4 – 5
Out of his loving-kindness the Lord saved us. We had fallen off the boat into the raging sea because we didn’t listen to his commands to stay off the deck during the storm. We thought that was unfair. After yelling at him for being too constrictive, we pounded up the stairs to play outside on the poop deck. It wasn’t long before we slipped off. But God, always keeping a loving
eye on us, called out our name, jumped in the torrent with a life preserver, put it around us, and pulled us back into the cabin of the boat. It was his kindness that saved us, not because of what we have done, but only because of his great mercy.
Pray for the Day:
Lord Jesus, how could I ever tire of saying thank you? Even when the trouble was my fault, you saved me anyways. Thank you. Your kindness rescues me. Your love warms me. Your mercy simply saves me. Thank you. Amen.
