忠心侍奉
“王要回答说：『我实在告诉你们，这些事你们既不做在我这弟兄中一个最小的身上，就是不做在我身上了。』”
马太福音25:45
“哎呀，我原本不知道我还要做那个，”想象一下，过了时间节点，误了事，你会不会这样跟你老板解释？然后你对自己说：“嗯，对，这不是我的错，我都不知道啊，所以，没什么大不了的。”是啊，没错。那个项目分配给你，你本该完成的。很遗憾，很快你就得去找新的工作了。
想象一下，到你年老的时候，回顾一生，自以为还不错。但是耶稣却对你说，你还有很多没有做。你可以帮助的没有帮助；你可以保护的没有保护。该说的好话没说，该敞开的大门没有开，该有的耐心，你也都没有。噢，你总是可以花时间为别人祷告的，但你却在玩Candy Crush电子游戏。
今日祷告：
耶稣，有那么多该做的事我却没有做。求你提醒我不要错过那些你要我做的事。阿们。
June 24 – Oops
And he will answer, “I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.”
MATTHEW 25:45
“Oops. Didn’t know I was supposed to do that.” Picture saying that to your boss after missing an important deadline. Then imagine hearing yourself say, “Uh, yeah, it’s not really my fault because I didn’t even know about it. So…no big deal.” Yeah, right. That project was assigned to you and was supposed to get done. Sorry, but you’re going to be looking for a new job pretty soon.
At the end of your life, imagine feeling pretty fine about all the good stuff that you did, but then Jesus informs you that you missed several significant projects. There were some people you passed by whom you could have helped. There were times when you didn’t defend someone who
was being hurt. There were kind words you could have said, doors you could have held open, and patience you could have given. Oh, and then there was all the time you could have spent praying for people, but you played Candy Crush instead.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, I have missed so many things that I should have done. Poke my heart today when I begin to miss the work you have for me. Amen.
