圣灵同在
“你们若爱我，就必遵守我的命令。 我要求父，父就另外赐给你们一位保惠师 ，叫他永远与你们同在，”
约翰福音 14:15-16
如果你跟随耶稣，在背后支持你的将不只是上帝的儿子，也有天父自己和圣灵保惠师。他们都保守、看顾你。在这个充满离弃的世界里，这真是个好消息。但是，这里面有一个关键点你不能忽视。诚然，上帝不会离弃你，但是祂也渴望你不要放弃祂。上帝要你爱祂，在爱里顺服祂。
顺服，就意味着听命。耶稣说的很清楚：你若爱祂，就听祂的话，遵守祂的命令。 那么，耶稣也会请求上帝赐给你们圣灵保惠师 ，祂会扶持你们，安慰你们，赐力量给你们，作你们随时的帮助。
今日祷告：
耶稣，正如祢所应许的那样，祢与我同在，这也是我所渴望的。感谢祢的眷顾。我爱你也愿意听从祢。阿们。
May 4 – Never Leave
“If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.”
JOH N 1 4 : 1 5 – 1 6
If you follow Jesus, then you won’t have only the Son of God defending your back, you’ll also have God the Father and the Holy Spirit too. You’re covered. In a world where abandonment is such a big problem, this is indeed good news. But there is a key concept embedded here that should not be missed. It is true that God won’t ditch you, but he also longs for you to not
give up on him either. He asks you to love him and, in your love, to obey what he has asked you to do.
To obey simply means to “listen.” Jesus states the obvious: If you love him then you’ll listen to him. And if you listen to him, then you might just hear him asking the Father to give you his Spirit, who will come to your aid, comfort you, empower you, and stand up for you in every circumstance at any given moment.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, just as you promise to be with me, I want to be with you too. Thank you for your attention and care. I love you and will be listening to you today. Amen.
