爱中扎根
使基督因你们的信，住在你们心里，叫你们的爱心有根有基，
以弗所书3：17
耶稣开着一个搬家的大卡车来到你家门口。他示意你来帮忙卸货。他对你说：“今天，我就搬进来和你一起住了，这样很好。” 你肯定会惊慌失措。因为你意识到自己还没有准备好。你心里快速扫描一下，发现冰箱里有发霉的意大利面条，地毯上的指甲屑，沙发缝里薯片，而且马桶还没有清洗！
是啊，耶稣就要搬进来了。祂会感到宾至如归吗？还是他得清理房间，重新布置家俱？
快想想：耶稣需要做些什么才能让你的心成为祂的家。在你的生命中若要让主耶稣感到舒适，可能会让你自己感到不舒适。
然而，与祂同住是何等美好！虽然这可能意味着你的旧习惯、旧常规被打破，而那些旧习惯并没有给你带来信心和平安。与耶稣同住的新秩序却会使你的生命更加充实。
今日祷告：
主耶稣，你的同在使我喜乐，求你住在我心里。阿们。

Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

Jesus just showed up with his moving truck. He motions for you to come help him unload. “Today’s the day!” he says. “Thanks for welcoming me in. This is going to be good.” You panic when you realize you haven’t gotten things ready. You do a quick scan of your heart and realize that there is moldy pasta in the fridge, toenail clippings on the carpet, and chips in the cracks of
the couch. And (gross) you haven’t cleaned the toilette.
Yes, Jesus is moving in. Will he feel at home right away, or will he have some cleaning to do and some furniture to rearrange? Think quick: What would Jesus need to do to make your heart his home? Having Jesus make himself comfortable in your life might not be such a comforting thought.
But it is the best possible scenario. It might mean some disruption for your old habits and routines, but those didn’t bring you confidence or peace anyways. The new daily routines with Jesus are going to be so much more fulfilling than what you have been doing.

Lord Jesus, I’m so glad you are here. Please, make yourself at home within me. Amen.
