恒切祷告
“你们要恒切祷告，在此警醒感恩。”
歌罗西书 4:2
忙碌的生活往往是充满压力的生活，然而，以祷告为中心的生活，却充满感恩和平安。一方面，当人们匆忙时，他们会担心可能发生什么或错过什么。另一方面，当人们通过祷告来调整生活节奏时，他们会心存感恩，因为他们会更加意识到耶稣在他们的生命中所做的一切。
人们经常会认为没有时间祷告，因为要做的事情太多，要完成的工作也太多。但是祷告会让你警醒、感恩。祷告会让你更明智地决策、更坦然地面对忧虑、更有力量对抗试炼，更遵循上帝的计划。
这就是为什么耶稣经常祷告。人们很惊奇地发现，耶稣经常在忙碌的时候，退到一边，与上帝亲近。在人们前呼后拥跟着他的时候，耶稣会退到一边去祷告。在耶稣最黑暗最痛苦的时候，他祷告；在耶稣独自一人，面临试探的时候，他祷告；在耶稣与大家聚会之前，他祷告。耶稣的生活是以祷告为中心，而不是以各种繁忙的事务为中心。
今日祷告：
亲爱的耶稣，谢谢你愿意陪伴我，与我同在。求祢让我有一颗祷告的心。阿们。

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.

A busy life is often a stressed life. A life paced around prayer, however, is often filled with thankfulness and peace. On one hand, when people are hurried, they are worried about what might happen or what they might miss. When people are paced by prayer, on the other hand, they develop a growing sense of gratitude because they become increasingly aware of all
Jesus is doing in them and around them.
People are often tempted to think they don’t have time for prayer. There is just too much going on, too many things to get done. But prayer forms an alert mind and cultivates a thankful heart. It provides wisdom for decisions, reassurance for apprehension, strength for trials, and unity with God’s plans.
This is one of the reasons Jesus prayed so much. He surprised people by how often he would withdraw from busy moments to spend time with the Father. At the height of his popularity, he would withdraw from the crowds and spend time in prayer. In the midst of his darkest moments, he would pray. When alone and tempted, he would pray. Before gathering with others, he would pray. His life was paced by prayer, not hectic activity.
Pray for the Day:
Dear Jesus, thank you for wanting to spend time with me. Cultivate a more prayerful mind and heart within me. Amen.
