管住嘴巴
“无论做什么，或说话或行事，都要奉主耶稣的名，借着他感谢父上帝。”
歌罗西书 3:17
回顾你过去的二十四小时，你觉得自己所说的话，都出于耶稣的心意吗？你和别人的交谈，都有耶稣的工作吗？别担心，每个人都有说错话的时候。许多人口不择言，粗暴无礼。人们总是出口伤人却不肯承认：污言秽语、赤口毒舌、恶语中伤、贫嘴滑舌、侮辱谩骂、妄称主名、信口雌黄、无中生有、借故推诿、流言蜚语。嘴巴可以吐出毒液伤害他人。
这个世界需要你口出恩言。一个截然不同的最简单的办法，就是用你的话语来表达感激之情。这个世界需要听到更多的“谢谢你” 。这是个很容易的短语。事实上，这三个字就能帮助人们感到愉快。

耶稣，谢谢你为我所做的一切。求祢帮助我所说的都是感恩的言语。阿们。
April 30 – Represent
And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

Look back on your last twenty-four hours. Would you say that your words reflected Jesus? Did your conversations suggest someone who is letting Jesus make a difference? Don’t worry, everyone is guilty of messing up with our mouths. People often have a shoe-shaped hole in the bottom of their face because they keep putting their foot where their mouth is.
Everyone allows wrong things past their lips more than they’d like to admit: coarse language, poisonous jabs, vengeful attacks, perverted jokes, abusive yelling, God’s name in vain, insults, lies, excuses, and gossip. The mouth can spit venom.
This world needs you to set a different pattern with the words that come out of your mouth. One simple way to make a dramatic difference would be to use your words to express gratitude. “Thank you” is one of those phrases that the world does not hear nearly enough. It is a freeing phrase. In fact, those two words help people feel good about themselves.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, thank you for doing all you have done for me. Help me speak as if I actually realize it. Amen.
