上帝成全
“我深信那在你们心里动了善工的，必成全这工，直到耶稣基督的日子。”
腓立比书 1:6
耶稣如此爱你，他不会放弃你。实际上，他一定会完成他在你身上开启的善工。作为一个画家，他可能会再增添一些纹理和光线。作为一个雕塑家，他可能会再凿掉一些粗糙的边缘。作为一个园丁，他可能会再修剪一些枯枝。然后，他就要运用他的木匠工艺，去测量、切割、锤钉、打磨——有时恐怕很花时间。无论他需要做什么，他都会始终在你里面做创造之工，直到完成。
耶稣最喜爱做的事情之一，就是创造杰作。他对你和其他的每一个人都有蓝图。他要全身心地投入到他所珍视的工作中。他关注你的每一个细节，永远不会从你身上转移注意力。他绝不放弃，直到最终他可以满意地后退一步，看着他自己所做的一切，然后说：甚好！
今日祷告：
耶稣，不要停止在我身上的工作。把我打造成你所期望的作品。阿们。
April 25 – Finish
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Jesus is so committed to you that he will not give up with you. In fact, he is going to finish what he began in you. As an artist, he might choose to add more texture and lighting. As a sculptor, he might just chisel away some rough edges. And as a gardener, he might decide to prune some dead branches. And then there’s his carpentry skills, in which case he might measure and cut and hammer and sand for a while—sometimes a long while. Whatever he needs to do, he is going to continue creating in you until he is finished with his work.
Creating a masterpiece is one of his favorite things to do. You, together with everyone else he is working on, have captured his vision. He wants to pour his heart into his most treasured work. He would never let himself get distracted from his attention to your every detail. And he won’t give up until he can step back and look at all he has made and say, “Very good!”
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, don’t stop working on me. Form me into who you want me to be. Amen.
