既往不咎
“主—耶和华啊，你若究察罪孽，谁能站得住呢？但在你有赦免之恩，要叫人敬畏你。”
诗篇 130:3-4
耶稣使你得自由。你知道吗？祂如此爱你，祂对你的过犯既往不咎。每一次你犯错，他都不会翻出旧帐，不会对你说：“啊哈！你看，我就知道你不好，你总是这样！”。耶稣不是那样的主，祂不会那样做。
事实上，当你有过错的时候，耶稣可能真的会拿出另外一本书，我们称之为圣经。祂可能会翻出许多经文，例如 约翰一书 1:9，“我们若认自己的罪，上帝是信实的，是公义的，必要赦免我们的罪，洗净我们一切的不义。” 或者以赛亚书 43:25，上帝说 “惟有我为自己的缘故涂抹你的过犯； 我也不记念你的罪恶。” 祂甚至会翻出爱的真谛那一章，就是哥林多前书13:5，“爱是不计算人的恶”。这就是我们主耶稣的做法，祂让我们得自由。
今日祷告：
耶稣，我不希望任何人记住我的过犯。谢谢祢对我的饶恕。阿们。

Record
Lord, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive? But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
PSALM 130: 3 – 4
Jesus makes you free. Did you know that? He loves you so much that he does not keep a record of your sins. Every time you mess up, he is not going to bring out The Book of Sin with your name on the cover, open up to page 1,378, and say, “Aha! See! I knew you were no good! You’re always failing!” That’s just not the way of Jesus. He won’t do that.
In fact, when you mess up he might actually pull out another book that we call the Bible. He might open to a myriad of different passages like 1 John 1:9, which says, “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness,” or Isaiah 43:25 where God says he “will blot out your sins and will never think of them again.”
Jesus might even quote from the “love” chapter of the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13, which says that love “keeps no record of wrongs.” This is the way of Jesus, and it makes you free.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, a record of my wrongs is not a record I’d like anyone to keep. Thank you for keeping forgiveness in your heart for me. Amen.
