目标和基础
“愿我的性命存活，得以赞美你！愿你的典章帮助我！我如亡羊走迷了路，求你寻找仆人，因我不忘记你的命令。”
诗篇 119:175-176
每一栋建筑，每一个社会，每一个产品，每一个家庭，每一个人，都会有这样或那样的目的，以及用以支持它们的基础设施。这些人和事是否成功都直接与基础设施是否牢靠有关。如果要造一座五十层的大楼，用来容纳数百间高科技公司的办公室，它的基础设施却只有一些木头和几个拨号的调制解调器，那简直就是无稽之谈。
人们常说，人类的“主要目的”是荣耀上帝。但是人类却往往给自己制造一些残破的基础，阻碍自己追求目标。好消息是，借着耶稣，上帝赐给了人类所需的基础和资源，让我们爱主并爱人如己。
今日祷告：
耶稣，求祢饶恕我的过犯，我曾经错谬地建造了自己的生命。让我永远遵照祢的蓝图，将荣耀归与祢。阿们。

Purpose and Infrastructure
Let me live so I can praise you, and may your regulations help me. I have wandered away like a lost sheep; come and find me, for I have not forgotten your commands.
PSALM 119: 175 – 176
Every building, every society, every product, every family, and every person has some sort of purpose and some sort of infrastructure that supports it or them. Whether those things or those people have success is directly relational to whether the infrastructure serves the purpose. If a building was meant to be fifty stories high and house hundreds of high-tech office spaces, it would be a farce if the infrastructure were made out of wood and a few dial-up modems.
It has been said that the “chief end” of humanity is to glorify God. But humans have often created a dilapidated infrastructure around themselves that has hindered their pursuit of their purpose. The good news is that through Jesus, God has given humanity the foundation and the resources we need to love the Lord and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, forgive me for those times I have used the wrong materials to build my life. May I always follow your blueprint so that I can bring glory to you. Amen.
