“证明这事的说：「是了，我必快来！」阿们！主耶稣啊，我愿你来！愿主耶稣的恩惠常与众圣徒同在。阿们！”
启示录 22:20-21
圣经的第一本书《创世记》，让我们明白上帝创造世界的目的；圣经的最后一本书《启示录》，要我们期盼上帝的再次来临，要创造新天新地。我们渴望完全恢复那种关系，也就是上帝按照祂的旨意要我们在这个世界上所拥有的关系，而这个世界正是祂为我们所预备的。
《启示录》的作者约翰，迫切期待着上帝所应许的再来。在圣经的最后一段经文里，约翰的言语充满了敬畏和期盼，他用了几个动人心弦的词语：“主耶稣啊，我愿你来！” 约翰知道对于他的读者们，再没有比这更好的方式可以用来作为结尾了。最大的祝福，就是一个祷告，愿主耶稣快点再来。
今日祷告：
主耶稣，在新的一年里，求祢来更新我的生命，也更新这个世界。阿们。

He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people.
REVELATION 22 : 20 – 21
The first book of the Bible, Genesis, launches our understanding of God’s purpose in creating the world. The last book of the Bible, Revelation, has us calling for God to come back and re-create. We long to be fully restored to the relationship that God intended us to have in the world that God intended for us to live in.
John, the writer of Revelation, can hardly wait for God’s promised restoration. As he writes what will become the very last words of the Bible, he is filled with awe and anticipation. He chooses to respond to Jesus with a few wonderful words that capture his heart: “Come, Lord Jesus.” John knows of no better way to conclude than this thought for his readers. The greatest blessing he could give to the world would be a prayer for Jesus to come back once again.
Pray for the Day:
Lord Jesus, in the year ahead, come to restore all things in my life and in this world. Amen.
