圣诞之后
“我留下平安给你们；我将我的平安赐给你们。我所赐的，不像世人所赐的。你们心里不要忧愁，也不要胆怯。”
约翰福音 14:27
当耶稣降生时，天使向地上的世人报告平安的佳音。好消息是，因为你属于人类，你也住在地上，所以天使所报平安的佳音也是带给你的！圣诞佳音之所以是平安的信息，是因为，耶稣将要来除灭罪恶，祂要消除痛苦，祂要化解悲伤。所有这一切，耶稣要用祂手中的一件武器来做到：那就是——饶恕。没有什么力量可以战胜饶恕。这是世界上最强有力的方法。抗拒饶恕，将徒劳无功。一切都将降服于耶稣和平与丰盛的大爱。
即便圣诞节已然过去，也不要抵挡耶稣。拥抱祂，向祂敞开你的心扉。让耶稣战胜一切你经过的死荫幽暗；让祂的得胜打碎你生命中的枷锁；让祂的平安克服你灵魂的争战；让祂的奇妙超越你的认知；让祂的劝慰更新你的心灵；让祂的权能点燃你的热情；让祂永恒的生命唤醒你；让祂的降生使你与神相连。
今日祷告：
耶稣，圣诞节是关于祢的日子，却是祢所赐给我的礼物。让我们都完全明白这一点，而更加亲近你。阿们。

Post-Christmas
I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

When the child was born, angels declared peace on earth to humankind. So here’s some good news: You are a kind of human, and you are on earth, so the angels declared peace for you. The post-Christmas peace comes from this: Jesus will destroy sin. He will obliterate distress. He will liquefy misery. And he will do all of this through the weapon he extends in his hands—forgiveness. Nothing can overcome forgiveness. It is the most powerful offense this world could ever embrace. It is futile to fight forgiveness. Everything
surrenders or succumbs to Jesus’ peaceful, abundant love.
Even though Christmas is past (and because it is it 363 days in the future), be careful not to resist Jesus. Embrace him. Pull him close to your heart. Let him overcome any shadow of death that you pass through. Let his victory break the chains in your life. Let his peace conquer the conflict in your soul. Let his wonder surpass your understanding. Let his counsel restore your heart. Let his might empower your passion. Let his everlasting life awaken you. Let his birth connect you to God.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, Christmas is all about you, and yet you have gifted me. As much as this sinks in, there is still room for me to embrace you more. Thank you! Amen.
