心灵居所
耶稣回答说：“人若爱我，就必遵守我的道，我父也必爱他，并且我们要到他那里去，与他同住。
约翰福音14:23
你的心灵就像一个客厅。它不是储藏室或车库，它也不是垃圾箱或阁楼。你的心灵是你邀请上帝进来居住的地方。
想一想，如果耶稣走进来，坐在一堆杂物之中，祂坐在污渍、碎屑、油垢、灰尘以及你心灵的垃圾中。在你还没来得及为自己辩解之前，耶稣就拿出吸尘器、地毯清洁剂、抹布和窗户清洁剂等，祂还修补沙发上的裂口，扔掉垃圾，把圣经放在咖啡桌上。然后，祂微笑着在沙发上坐下。这时你才问客人：“嗯，主啊，我能为祢做点什么吗？祢最近在忙什么呢？” 然后耶稣就告诉你祂最近的生活，祂的乐趣，祂与各种各样的人相处的情况。耶稣也询问有关你的生活，你们一起欢歌笑语，其乐融融。
你的心灵就是耶稣想要居住的地方。
今日祷告：
耶稣，愿祢进入我的心灵，让它成为祢的居所。阿们。

Living Room
Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”

Your soul is a living room. It is not a storage closet or a garage. It’s not a garbage bin or an attic. Your soul is where you invite God to make himself at home.
Imagine if Jesus walked in and sat down among all the clutter, in the midst of stains, crumbs, filth, dust, and the garbage you’d been putting into your soul. And before you could protest, Jesus gets the vacuum out, the carpet cleaner, the dust rag, and the window cleaner, and he repairs the rip in the couch and throws away the trash and puts his Word out on the coffee table. And then he sits down on the sofa and puts his feet up with a smile. Ah. That’s when you ask your guest, “Um, can I do anything for you, God? What have you been up to lately?” And that’s when Jesus tells you all about his life, what he does for fun, his relationships around the world. And Jesus asks you about your life, and you share a laugh together, you invite others to come in genuinely, you revel in songs of joy, and you play vintage Super Nintendo because it was the best video game console ever. Your soul is the living room where Jesus wants to take up residence.

Jesus, please come in and make your home in my soul. Amen.
