乐意事奉
“普天下当向耶和华欢呼！你们当乐意事奉耶和华，当来向他歌唱！”
诗篇 100:1-2
你是否知道教会不应该枯燥乏味？有些人根深蒂固地认为教会总应该是庄严、肃穆、有序而被神圣化的、虔诚的地方。但这并不是教会的全貌。
你是否可以想象，一个传道人冗长的讲道能使耶稣也打瞌睡吗？你是否可以想象，耶稣一脸茫然、腰酸背痛地坐在长凳上听诗班重复咏唱着刻板的诗歌？你是否可以想象，耶稣拾起一支诗歌本旁边的短铅笔，然后无聊地在节目单上随意涂画着？
或者，你是否应该看见耶稣在参与圣经的讨论？当人们发现上帝的伟大时，你一定会看见耶稣微笑了，是吗？你是否看到耶稣准备了晚餐，为食物以及为与朋友共度的时光而祝谢呢？ 祂喜爱与门徒们的聚会。
当耶稣进入耶路撒冷的时候，人们欢聚在祂的周围。耶稣说：“这些石头必要呼叫起来！”
今日祷告：
耶稣，让我的心在祢面前充满喜乐 。阿们。

With Gladness
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
PSALM 100 : 1–2
Do you know that church isn’t supposed to be boring? Did you know that? Some people have been engrained to think that church is always supposed to be solemn and respectful and ordered and hallowed (which sounds especially seriously religious if you pronounce it Old English-style: “Hal-low-ed”). But this just isn’t a full picture of church.
Can you see Jesus being satisfied to fall asleep as a speaker drones on and on? Can you imagine Jesus looking blank faced as choruses are repeated and a pew bench cramps his lower back? Can you picture Jesus trying to draw something on the bulletin with that little tiny golf pencil found next to the old red hymnal?
Or do see Jesus engaging in discussion about the Bible? Do you imagine him smiling as people make discoveries about the greatness of God? Do you picture him preparing a meal over a fire and giving thanks for the food and for time with his friends? He loved being with the gathering of his followers!
When he entered Jerusalem, as people rallied to him, he declared, “Even the stones will burst into cheers!”

Jesus, let my heart come alive with joy before you today. Amen.
