凡事谢恩
“凡事要奉我们主耶稣基督的名常常感谢父上帝。”
以弗所书 5:20
要献出去？真要命！什么都得献出去吗？哦，是献上“感恩”，好吧。我只要表达感激之情就行了？那可以，我可以做到。” 献上感恩，很好，我想，我的确有需要感恩的事。
什么，凡事都要感恩？那算什么？你的意思不是指一切事情吧？没有一件事不需要谢恩吗？所有的事吗？真的是这样？
向天父献上感恩？好啊！那可以，我没有意见。但我还是不明白为什么要凡事谢恩。可以有所保留吗？或者保留一半？
奉主耶稣基督的名？噢，嗯——我真得这样吗？难道我不能就根据当时的情况来决定要不要感恩吗？难道我不能只为我喜欢的事物而感恩吗？你的意思是说，我得以耶稣的眼光来看待事物吗？啊呀，这可真不容易做到。
今日祷告：
耶稣，求祢帮助我充分了解祢，认识祢，使我真正懂得凡事谢恩。阿们。

For Everything
And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
EPHESIANS 5 : 20
Give—Ah, come on! That one hurts. Whatever I have, I need to give it? Thanks—Oh, okay. So I just need to give the gratitude I have. Okay, I can do that. Give thanks. Cool. I’ve got some things I could give thanks for, I guess.
For everything—Huh? What was that? You don’t mean every thing, do you? Like, the opposite of nothing? That’s what I’m supposed to give thanks for? You mean the most anti-no-thing there is? Everything. Really?
To God the Father—Well, okay. I’ve got no problem with giving God thanks, but I’m still stuck on everything. Could we compromise on this a bit?
Meet halfway perhaps?
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—Oh, um…so I have to mean it too? I can’t just say thanks, like, according to the way I feel in the moment? I shouldn’t just say thanks for the things I like? You mean I should put myself in the perspective of Jesus? Ah man, I thought you might say that.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, help me be saturated in who you are today so that I can learn to be truly thankful. Amen.
