洁身自好
“这四个少年人，上帝在各样文字学问上赐给他们聪明知识；但以理又明白各样的异象和梦兆。”
但以理书 1:17
旧约圣经但以理书的第一篇，记载了四个年轻人的故事。他们因为战争被掳到敌国。他们不得不离开亲人，改变饮食习惯，甚至改变姓名，并且不能够继续保持很多的传统文化。 但是，有一件事情他们从没有放弃，那就是他们对上帝的敬虔。
我们谁也不知道上帝究竟会怎样使用我们来改变世界。但是，我们深信，祂一定会使用我们。照世人看来，这四个年轻人完全可以放任自己，随波逐流，放弃对上帝的信仰。但是，他们却遵守上帝的教导，秉持正直优秀的品格。到了上帝要用他们的时候，他们已经预备好了。敌国的王，看到了他们卓越的品质和聪明知识，重用他们。不久之后，上帝就使用他们，大展身手，治理天下。
今日祷告：
耶稣，不管祢要怎样使用我，让我预备好来事奉祢。阿们。

You Never Know How
God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom. And God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams.
DANIEL 1 : 17
Four young men had been displaced by war. They were removed from their homes and relocated to the enemy’s capital. They were forced to give up their families, to change their diets, to change their names, and to lose much of their heritage. But they never waivered in what mattered most to them, which was their faithful commitment to the Lord.
Not one of us knows exactly how God will end up using us to impact the world. But he will use us. These four men had every reason (in the world’s standards) to let down their guard and let go of their pursuit of God. Instead, they dedicated themselves to a life of integrity and character and excellence in the ways that God called them to live.
When the moment came to use their gifts to impact the world around them, they were ready. The enemy king took notice of the outstanding character and skills of these young men. And before long, God used them to change an empire.

Jesus, no matter how you choose to do so, prepare me to serve you today. Amen.
