医治的主
耶稣对百夫长说：「你回去吧！照你的信心，给你成全了。」那时，他的仆人就好了。”
马太福音 8:13
耶稣是来行医治的。我们一向依靠自己，因而有时会轻忽这一事实。耶稣就是来行医治的。例如，在马太福音第八章中，他医治了一个患大麻风的；他医治了一个百夫长瘫痪的仆人；他医治了彼得患热病的岳母；他只靠一个简单的命令就医治了很多被鬼附身的人；也医治了许多其他的病人。哦，顺便说一句，他还平静了风浪。
这一章给人留下了深刻的印象。这些神迹奇事对耶稣来说并非罕见。马太要我们知道这就是耶稣所行的事。他写道：“这是要应验先知 以赛亚 的话，说： 他代替我们的软弱， 担当我们的疾病。” (马太福音 8:17 )

耶稣，我相信你是要我们恢复与上帝的关系。我祈求你给我的生命带来医治，并使用我把你的医治带给他人。阿们。

Healer
Then Jesus said to the Roman officer, “Go back home. Because you believed, it has happened.” And the young servant was healed that same hour.
MATTHEW 8:13
Jesus came to heal. Our self-dependent culture can overlook that fact sometimes. Jesus came to heal. In just one chapter in Matthew, for instance, he heals a man with leprosy, he heals the paralyzed servant of a centurion, he heals Peter’s mother-in-law of her fever (which must have won her son-in-law some brownie points!), he heals many demon-possessed people with a simple command, and he healed many others who were sick. Oh, and, by the way, he calmed a storm.
That’s an impressive chapter indeed. And these sorts of miracles weren’t out of the ordinary for Jesus. Matthew wanted us to know that this is what Jesus does. “This fulfilled the word of the Lord through the prophet Isaiah,” Matthew wrote, “who said, ‘He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases’” (Matthew 8:17).
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, I trust you to restore people to relationship with God. I ask that you would bring healing to my life and use me to bring your healing to others too. Amen.
