美好的仗
“但你这属上帝的人要逃避这些事，追求公义、敬虔、信心、爱心、忍耐、温柔。你要为真道打那美好的仗，持定永生。你为此被召，也在许多见证人面前，已经作了那美好的见证。”
提摩太前书 6:11-12
有没有人教你不要像小孩子那样喜欢打架？你知道吗？不管是谁教的，这个观点是不对的。有时候你应该斗争。你不应该束手就擒， 你不应该面对周围世界被摧毁而无动于衷。你当为正义挺身而出，抵制一切伤害民众的事。你应该参加争战，参加抵抗运动，参加变革，不给邪恶势力留地步。你要拿起耶稣强有力的武器，那就是祂的恩典和怜悯以及永恒不变的爱。刚开始，你可能会发现别人害怕与你站在一起，害怕了解你为什么要代表耶稣。 但是绝不要放弃这个使命， 你当毫不犹豫地呼召大家与你一起来打这美好的仗。
今日祷告：
耶稣，在这个与善为敌的世界，你以坚定的爱来争战。谢谢你让我有份于其中。阿们。

The Good Fight
But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses.
1 TIMOTHY 6:11–12
Were you ever told not to fight as a child? Did you know that whoever told you that was wrong? You are supposed to fight at times. You aren’t supposed to just let yourself fall apart, and you aren’t supposed to just let the world crumble around you. You are supposed to stand up for what is right and repel what harms the people of this planet. You are supposed to join in the struggle, the resistance movement, the revolution that refuses to allow evil to have its way. You are supposed to pick up the weapons of Jesus’ powerful grace and mercy and wield his enduring love. You may, at first, find that others are afraid to stand with you or afraid to understand why you take risks to represent Jesus. But hold tight to this calling and don’t hesitate to call others to unite with you.
Pray for the Day:
Jesus, in this world’s struggle against good, you fought with an unyielding love. Thank you for inviting me to join you. Amen.
