靠主得胜
“不要为作恶的心怀不平，也不要向那行不义的生出嫉妒。 因为他们如草快被割下，又如青菜快要枯干。”
诗篇 37:1-2
我们的世界到处都是胆大包天的恶人。坦白说，我们常常为此惶恐不安。但是，如果我们相信神的话语，一切都会变得不同。我们有信、有望、有爱，就不会再有恐惧。我们深信，上帝最终战胜邪恶。
圣经中绝没有完全的平安与无忧无虑。冲突是无可避免的。事实上，圣经中原原本本地记载了各种冲突与争斗。纵观历史，俯瞰世界，就会看到，那些作恶的，总是与上帝做对，试图破坏上帝永恒的计划。
但是，在上帝的大能之中，我们与世界的仇敌争战，绝不屈服。
我们为什么要惧怕呢？上帝大能和公义的膀臂必将得胜！我们站在全能上帝的一边，祂要将他们如草割下，使他们瞬息枯干！
今日祷告：
耶稣，求祢让我有勇气信靠你。阿们。

Mighty Mower of the Yard
Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. For like grass, they soon fade away.
Like spring flowers, they soon wither.
PSALM 37:1–2
Our world is full of monstrous men who fear nothing other than peace. And to be honest, on the world scene, most of us worry about that. But what if we were to truly trust the words of the Bible? How would our engagement with the world change? Would our actions be driven by
faith and hope and love rather than fear? Would we be empowered that in the end God would not allow evil to triumph?
There is nothing in the Bible to interpret as soft or mindless. There is no avoidance of conflict. In fact, conflict and strife are inherent in the raw reality of the words of the Bible. There is, after all, historically and cosmically, a fight launched by principalities who would wreak destruction against the everlasting hand of God. In God’s power, we are called to stand against the world’s adversaries without buckling our knees.
After all, why should we be afraid? Whose arm of might and justice will prevail? We choose to join sides with the Mighty Mower of the Yard, the Almighty Trimmer of the Flowers.

Jesus, give me the courage to trust you today. Amen.
