尊重弱者
“不可咒骂聋子，也不可将绊脚石放在瞎子面前，只要敬畏你的上帝。我是耶和华。”
利未记 19:14
请你来听一听。上帝深深关心那些失去基本能力的人。很多人会感到惊讶，旧约圣经中，上帝对于身体残疾的弱势群体的尊重和照顾是超越时代的。耶和华神使那些残疾人的社会地位升高，祂要人们给予他们尊严。
请你来看一看。上帝亲自来帮助那些身体有缺陷的人。如果有人耳朵聋，被人嘲弄，上帝可要较真儿，会很生气。如果有人眼瞎，被人讥笑，上帝说，我们就是讥笑祂。（太9:29）
主耶稣说：我们怎样对待那些弱小无助的人，就是怎样对待主自己（太25:31–46）。如果我们嘲弄、忽视甚至欺负那些身体不方便的人，主耶稣是不会袖手旁观的。
今日祷告：
主耶稣，你来医治人的眼睛和耳朵。求你帮助我尊敬那些你所眷顾的人，让我荣耀你的名。阿们。

Can You See?
Do not insult the deaf or cause the blind to stumble. You must fear your God; I am the Lord.
LEVITICUS 19:14
Stop and hear this. The Lord cares deeply for those who have lost the most basic of human abilities. It surprises many people to hear that the Old Testament was ahead of its time in terms of promoting access and respect for those who were physically disadvantaged. The Lord elevates those with physical disabilities to a high status in society, and he calls others to serve them with honor.
Stop and see this. The Lord himself came to the aid of those with physical limitations. If someone who is deaf is mocked, the Lord takes it personally—very personally. If someone who is blind is ridiculed, God says we are messing with him directly. Jesus himself says that the way we treat people who are in disadvantaged situations is how we treat him (Matthew 25:31–46). He will not stand by idly as we mock, neglect, or create difficulties for those who are less fortunate physically.
Pray for the Day:
Lord Jesus, you came to heal eyes and ears. Help me to honor you by honoring those you deeply care about. Amen.
