寻求上帝
“你们要先求他的国和他的义，这些东西都要加给你们了。”
马太福音 6:33
寻找大脚怪，已经使一些人痴迷。他们会不遗余力地去探索这种所谓的巨型生物。他们也为之耗费巨资，购买隐身装备、追踪仪器、全天候监控设备。 他们不惜周游大陆，以成为目击者。
追踪大脚怪，当然不可能是每个人都可以去做的。然而寻求上帝，却肯定是每个人都可以的。我们如果以火热的心去寻求上帝，那将会怎样？。上帝的国度，为每个渴慕的人预备了盼望、引导、更新和自由。为了天国，我们是否要竭力寻求？为了天国，我们是否应该时常警醒、仰望上帝？为了天国，我们是否期望让上帝进入我们的生命？为了天国，我们是否盼望上帝处处与我们同在？也许我们经常错过上帝的作为，因为我们视而不见。人们所追求的东西，决定了他们的生活。是时候让我们来反思：今天我们在追求什么？
今日祷告：
主耶稣，让我常仰望你的国度。开启我的眼睛，让我在环境中看见祢的作为。阿们。

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

Finding Big Foot has become an obsession for some people. They’ll go to great lengths to find the creature, even spending thousands of dollars on camo gear, tracking devices, and all-night surveillance equipment. Some will travel around the continent pursuing alleged sightings.
Tracking Big Foot certainly isn’t a lifestyle that’s right for everyone, but pursuing God certainly is. What if we had that much passion in our pursuit of God? God has established a kingdom that offers hope, guidance, restoration, and freedom for anyone who wants to be a part of it. What might we find if we spent our energy seeking God’s kingdom? What if we kept a vigilant eye open for God’s reign throughout each day? What if we began to expect to find him rummaging in our life? And what if we anticipated spotting him in the community around us?
Perhaps we often miss what God is doing because we are often not looking. What people seek defines their lives. It’s time to ask ourselves what we seek today.
Pray for the Day:
Lord Jesus, keep me watchful for your kingdom today. Help me find you at work in circumstances I hadn’t considered before. Amen.
