复活
“我当日所领受又传给你们的：第一，就是基督照圣经所说，为我们的罪死了， 而且埋葬了；又照圣经所说，第三天复活了，”
哥林多前书 15:3-4
十字架和空坟墓是并列相连的事件，二者缺一不可。十字架表明了上帝对罪的审判，耶稣代替我们受罚；而空坟墓则宣告了新的盼望，耶稣的生命和权柄战胜了死亡。我们两者都需要。我们需要十字架，因为耶稣受难，把我们的罪带进坟墓；我们需要空坟墓，因为耶稣复活，带给我们新的生命。这就是基督信仰的核心真理。没有这个真理，教会只是一个或好或坏的宗教，其实只能带来虚假的盼望。整本圣经都指向耶稣。他来到这个世界，是因上帝对人类罪的愤怒而执行审判，同时又提供上帝对我们罪的赦免。耶稣道成肉身，为我们承受了审判，将神的愤怒归到他身上， 赐给我们新生，使我们在审判的日子，可以欢欣鼓舞地迎接新的生命。
今日祷告：
主耶稣，我所知道的那最能改变人生的真理就是：我虽不配。但是你为我的罪而死，又赐给我新生。阿们。
April 15 – Resurrection
He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.

The cross and empty tomb go together—it is a double event. The cross demonstrated God’s verdict against sin, a punishment that Jesus took in our place, while the empty tomb proclaimed hope after judgment, the power of death rolled away by the life and authority of Jesus. We need both. We need the cross because on it Jesus takes our sin to its grave, but we need the empty tomb because from it Jesus offers us life after death.
This is the central truth of Christianity. Without it, everything churchy is just good (or bad) religion that actually offers false hope. All of the Bible points to the crux of history in Jesus. He came to bring God’s wrath against humanity for its sin and to also offer forgiveness. Jesus came as a human, took the wrath upon himself, and offered new life that gracefully dances upon the ashes of judgment.
Pray for the Day:
Lord Jesus, the most life-changing truth I can ever hold is this: Though I did nothing to deserve it, you died for my sin and offered me new life. Amen.
