不可貌相
“他诚然担当我们的忧患， 背负我们的痛苦； 我们却以为他受责罚， 被上帝击打苦待了。”
以赛亚书 53:4
苏格兰歌手苏珊·波伊尔（Susan Boyle）迈上“英国达人”选秀舞台时，面对的是一群对她不屑一顾的观众。评委和观众都难以想象她能有什么惊人之举。人们刚开始看到她温和平庸的外表时，多数人都以为她不过是另一位微笑着走下舞台的英国达人的参赛者。但是，她一开声唱，还没唱完第一句，观众就惊叹不已，起身喝彩了。
人们对耶稣也是这样，他们也对他不屑一顾。他不是他们所期待的。他们以为耶稣也只是一个自称是弥赛亚的，很快就会被赶下历史舞台。更糟糕的是，当耶稣被审判受苦难时，他们觉得耶稣罪有应得。回顾历史，人类并没有多少正确的判断力，不是吗？
今日祷告：
亲爱的耶稣，当我还在嘲笑你的时候，你却亲自担当我的罪孽。是你为我哀哭叹息，让我哑口无言，羞愧难当。求你饶恕我。阿们。
March 29 – Misjudged
Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!

Susan Boyle walked out on the stage in front of a theater full of people ready to dismiss her. The judges and the crowd struggled to imagine what she could be doing there. The moment they saw her meek appearance, most concluded that she would be just another Britain’s Got Talent contestant laughed off the stage. And then she sang. And before she could finish her first phrase to the song, people were overwhelmed, standing on their feet in amazement.
When people looked at Jesus, they dismissed him too. He wasn’t what they expected. They thought he was just another Messiah contestant who would be booed off the stage of history. Even worse, they looked at him and thought he deserved the ridicule and punishment he received. Humans don’t have a great track record of judging, do they?
Pray for the Day:
Dear Jesus, you took my sins upon yourself while I pointed and laughed. And then you sang your song of sorrow, and I became dumbfounded and ashamed. Forgive me. Amen.
